The rules for this event contract are as follows: If, at any 1-minute interval during April 2026, the "highest price" of the active month WTI crude oil futures is equal to or higher than the listing price, the market will be resolved as "YES"; otherwise, it will be resolved as "NO". In contrast, the rules for the previous WTI crude oil March price prediction event contract were: If the official settlement price of the CME crude oil futures contract's current active month (front month) on any trading day is equal to or higher than the listing price as of the last trading day of March 2026, the market will be resolved as "YES"; otherwise, it will be resolved as "NO".
U.S. President Trump has stated that negotiations regarding the war with Iran will continue over the weekend.
