Cursor Plans to Raise $20 Billion, Valuation Reaches $50 Billion
Odaily News AI programming tool company Cursor is close to completing a new round of financing, aiming to raise at least $20 billion with a pre-money valuation of $50 billion. This round is expected to be led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, with strategic investors like NVIDIA participating, and Battery Ventures may join as a new investor.
If successfully completed, the company's valuation would represent a significant increase from its level of approximately $29.3 billion six months ago. In terms of revenue, Cursor's annualized revenue was around $20 billion in February this year and is projected to exceed $60 billion by the end of 2026.
