Trump: U.S. to Acquire All Nuclear Materials, Israel Banned from Bombing Lebanon Again
Odaily President Trump posted on a social media platform, stating, "The United States will get all of the nuclear 'dust' (i.e., nuclear materials) made by our great B-2 bomber — no money will be involved in any form or fashion. This deal also has nothing to do with Lebanon, but the U.S. will work separately with Lebanon to properly handle the Hezbollah situation. Israel will no longer bomb Lebanon, they are forbidden by the U.S. from doing so." Trump used the term "nuclear dust" to refer to highly enriched uranium.
Trump's remarks praised the United States for destroying Iran's nuclear program through formidable military power (the B-2 bomber). It is believed that after the U.S. military strikes on the Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities in June last year, this highly enriched uranium was buried deep underground. This batch of nuclear materials has been under Iran's control and has consistently been a major source of tension between the Trump administration and Tehran. (Jin10)
