Odaily News Totalis announced the completion of a $500,000 seed funding round, with participation from Y Combinator. Totalis is the first company to receive Y Combinator investment entirely in USDC, with the funds settled via the Solana network and held in custody by Ramp. Positioned as a core derivatives layer for prediction markets, Totalis allows users to build multi-leg parlay combinations across categories, markets, and venues, covering geopolitical events, cryptocurrencies, and sports assets, aiming to enhance capital efficiency for trading and market making.
Additionally, according to Y Combinator CEO Garry Tan, YC will make future investment payments in stablecoins, stating that this new financial rail for the revolution will not be conducted via ACH or wire transfers.
