A whale holds a $30 million short position on oil, currently with a floating loss of $2 million

Odaily News Arkham posted on X platform stating that the whale "0x63c" opened a crude oil short position on Hyperliquid with a value once as high as $30 million. However, due to the negative funding rate in the crude oil market, it currently receives $388,000 in daily funding fee income, equivalent to an annualized funding fee income of up to $142 million. Yet, due to fluctuations in crude oil prices, the whale has incurred a floating loss of $2 million.
