Bitcoin Depot Discloses Hack Resulting in Approximately $3.7 Million in BTC Losses, Internal Systems Compromised

Odaily News: Cryptocurrency ATM operator Bitcoin Depot has disclosed that it lost approximately 50.9 Bitcoin, worth around $3.7 million at current prices, in a cybersecurity incident. According to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the attack occurred on March 23rd, where hackers obtained credentials linked to the company's corporate-level Bitcoin wallet, thereby compromising some internal systems.
