Odaily News Stablecoin issuer Circle announced on platform X that it will soon launch the wrapped Bitcoin token cirBTC. cirBTC is backed 1:1 by BTC and can be verified on-chain. Its design aims to seamlessly integrate with Circle's infrastructure and the broader DeFi ecosystem, thereby creating a neutral foundation for new on-chain applications.
