AI Model Evaluation Platform Yupp to Cease Operations, Previously Secured $33 Million Seed Round Led by a16z
Odaily News AI model evaluation platform Yupp.ai's CEO Pankaj Gupta announced on the X platform that the platform will soon cease operations. The platform will remain accessible for the next 15 days, during which users can download their data. Existing users are unable to create new conversations starting today, and new users cannot register.
Yupp.ai launched in June 2025 and secured a $33 million seed round in June last year, led by a16z. The platform allowed users to freely compare various AI models. Users could input prompts and view responses generated side-by-side by multiple AIs. After selecting the best result, a "preference data packet" was formed. This data was used for the post-training and evaluation of AI models. The platform integrated blockchain technology to achieve transparency in the evaluation process. Users providing feedback received corresponding rewards, while AI developers obtained verifiable training data.
