Xiaomi Mobile AI Agent "Xiaomi miclaw" Begins Limited Closed Beta
Odaily News Xiaomi's AI interaction test product, Xiaomi miclaw, built on the MiMo large model, began a limited closed beta today. Access is by invitation only, with no public recruitment.
Xiaomi miclaw runs as a system application, encapsulating over 50 system-level tools and ecosystem services. It utilizes a reasoning-execution loop engine, allowing the model to autonomously decide the sequence and parameters for tool calls. The product focuses on validating the execution capabilities of large models within Xiaomi's "Human x Car x Home" ecosystem, featuring a four-layer capability architecture: system-level capabilities, personal context understanding, ecosystem interconnectivity, and self-evolution.
Regarding ecosystem interconnectivity, Xiaomi miclaw implements a complete Mi Home protocol client, enabling control of connected IoT devices under user authorization. It also supports the MCP protocol and provides an SDK for third-party application integration. In terms of self-evolution, the product possesses four meta-capabilities: file-level memory, sub-agent creation, MCP service configuration, and sandbox script execution, allowing it to autonomously build memory systems and expand its toolset.
Xiaomi notes that the product is still being optimized for stability, power consumption, and success rates in complex scenarios. Users are advised to back up their data beforehand and conduct testing in a controlled environment.
