Bitget CEO: Current Pullback Presents a Strategic Buying Opportunity for Long-Term Investors
Odaily News Bitget CEO Gracy Chen stated in an interview with Bloomberg TV that, despite mixed data, she agrees with Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan's view that the current pullback represents a strategic buying opportunity for long-term investors with a horizon of over three years.
Gracy Chen indicated that the trigger for last week's price decline was policy uncertainty stemming from new Federal Reserve candidates, coupled with risk-aversion sentiment driven by macroeconomic and geopolitical factors. Following the events of October 11, 2025, overall liquidity in the crypto market has tightened, and any selling pressure is quickly amplified.
Gracy Chen believes that future market movements will depend on US quantitative easing policies and the growth of global money supply. She is also optimistic about the prospects of real-world asset tokenization as a primary application driver. The traditional four-year cycle pattern has now been smoothed by Wall Street capital represented by ETFs and DATs. Bitcoin remains an asset that reflects liquidity. From a 3 to 4-year cycle perspective, the current level of $70,000 is an excellent entry point, and she recommends employing a Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA) strategy for phased accumulation.
