UBS has used the Chainlink DTA standard to complete instant tokenized fund transactions.
Odaily Planet Daily reports that UBS has announced the successful completion of an end-to-end, real-time tokenized fund transaction in a production environment using the Chainlink Digital Transfer Agent (DTA) technology standard. This transaction, executed jointly by UBS Tokenize and DigiFT, involved the initial on-chain subscription and redemption of the UBS USD Money Market Fund token, uMINT.
The process reportedly covers all stages of the fund's lifecycle, including order receipt, execution, settlement, and data synchronization between on-chain and off-chain systems. DigiFT, as an on-chain fund distributor, has completed the automated settlement of uMINT shares based on the Chainlink DTA standard.
Mike Dargan, COO and CTO of UBS, stated that this transaction demonstrates the potential of smart contracts and standardized technologies to improve fund operational efficiency and investor experience. Chainlink co-founder Sergey Nazarov said that this achievement sets a new industry benchmark for institutional-grade tokenized finance. DigiFT founder Henry Zhang added that the Chainlink DTA standard enables real-time subscription and redemption operations that are directly integrated with institutional custody systems.
