Square Launches Bitcoin Payments and Merchant Wallet Features

Odaily Planet Daily reports that Jack Dorsey's payments company, Block, has announced the launch of a new Bitcoin payment and wallet product by its subsidiary, Square, targeting small and medium-sized merchants using Square's cash register system. The product aims to promote Bitcoin's integration into everyday commercial payments. Merchants can automatically convert incoming payments into BTC through Square's Bitcoin network, free of charge. Starting November 10th, merchants can also directly accept Bitcoin payments and choose to automatically convert up to 50% of their daily sales revenue into BTC. (Decrypt)
