Metis founder Elena published an open letter to the community, outlining the strategic evolution path centered on AI and playability.

According to Odaily Planet Daily, Elena Sinelnikova, co-founder of Metis and advisor to LazAI, published an open letter to the community, systematically outlining Metis' strategic plan for evolving from "Metis beyond just L2" to "a testing ground for next-generation, groundbreaking decentralized applications." Metis' infrastructure stack is clearly divided into: Andromeda as the settlement layer, and Hyperion as the AI-optimized high-performance computing layer. Together, Andromeda and Hyperion form the infrastructure. LazAI serves as the application and data layer, focusing on "playability."

Metis believes that traditional Layer 2 requires upgrading. Infrastructure alone is insufficient to attract mass adoption; playability and meaningful interactions must be enhanced. LazAI and its first AI companion data asset (DAT), Lazbubu, are key implementations of this strategy. Data shows that Lazbubu's whitelisting campaign has attracted over 90,000 users and minted over 10,000 tokens, initially validating market demand for the "AI agent as an asset" model.

In her letter, Elena called on the community to participate in the construction of new ecosystems like LazAI as soon as possible to jointly shape the future. This move marks Metis's strategic focus shifting from a single scaling solution to building a comprehensive ecosystem that integrates blockchain, AI, and community-driven development.
