Odaily Planet Daily News: Kaia, a public chain formed by the merger of Kakao's Klaytn and LINE's Finschia, announced that it will cooperate with LINE Next to launch a stablecoin-driven super application "Project Unify" in LINE Messenger. The beta version is expected to be launched this year. The application is aimed at nearly 200 million monthly active users in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, providing services such as payment, cross-border remittances, stablecoin income, fiat currency and digital asset exchange, and access to more than 100 decentralized applications. Seo Sangmin, chairman of the Kaia DLT Foundation, said that the platform aims to create "universally compliant" stablecoins and Web 3 super applications. In the future, it will support multiple regional currencies including the Japanese yen, Korean won, Thai baht, Indonesian rupiah, Philippine peso, Malaysian ringgit, Singapore dollar and US dollar to solve the fragmentation problem of Asian payment systems.
