XRP treasury company VivoPower International (NASDAQ: VVPR) said on Tuesday that its mining subsidiary Caret Digital will expand its operations and exchange mined tokens for XRP, a move that will give the company exposure to the cryptocurrency at an effective discount of 65%. The company did not specify how much XRP it expects to acquire or which mined tokens will be exchanged. VivoPower said its XRP reserve strategy is twofold: combining token exchange from mining activities with Ripple equity acquisitions to reduce the average acquisition cost while deepening exposure to the XRP ecosystem.
