Odaily Planet Daily reported that US President Trump posted in his latest post on social media that he filed a $15 billion defamation lawsuit against The New York Times today.

Trump stated, "This most depraved newspaper in American history has become a de facto 'mouthpiece' for the radical left Democratic Party. I believe this is the largest illegal campaign contribution in history – the newspaper's statement supporting Kamala Harris, front and center, is unprecedented! The New York Times has spent decades slandering your favorite president (me!), my family, my career, the 'America First' movement, the MAGA camp, and our entire country." Trump stated that he would hold the once-respected tabloid accountable, just as he successfully sued fake news outlets like ABC/Disney and 60 Minutes/CBS/Paramount. He stated, "This long-term, deliberate abuse is both unacceptable and illegal. The era of The New York Times' wanton lies, smears, and defamation against me ends now!
