Legendary Washington lawyer Abbe Lowell will defend Cook in Trump's case against him
Odaily Planet Daily reported that the case of Trump firing Federal Reserve Board member Cook will be defended by legendary Washington lawyer Abbe Lowell.
It is reported that Lowell's clients have included New York Attorney General Letitia James, Hunter Biden, Jared Kushner, Ivanka Trump and many other high-profile political figures - both Republicans and Democrats.
Fighting a presidential administration's attempts to rein in federal regulators is nothing new for Lowell, who has been deeply involved in Washington legal circles for decades. "I've challenged federal agencies' overreach in essentially every administration since Ronald Reagan, whether it was Democratic or Republican," Lowell told MSNBC last month. "If the government oversteps its bounds, it's the lawyer's job to bring it back on track."
