According to a 10x Research report, South Korean individual investors have purchased over $12 billion worth of US-listed crypto-related company shares this year, including Bitmine, Circle, and Coinbase. In August alone, South Korean investors purchased $426 million worth of Bitmine, $226 million worth of Circle, and $183 million worth of Coinbase shares, while also investing $282 million in a 2x Ethereum ETF. The report notes that South Korean retail funds are pouring into crypto stocks, reshaping global capital flows, a trend bolstered by stablecoin legislation in both the US and South Korea. Unlike a few years ago, when investors primarily pursued US tech stocks like Tesla and Nvidia, investors are now shifting their focus to the crypto sector.
