Ripple CTO defends XRPL's low transaction volume: institutions tend to use digital assets off-chain rather than on-chain
a day ago
Odaily Planet Daily reports that the community has questioned the project and transparency of Ripple, the company behind the cryptocurrency XRP. KOL Andrei Jikh stated that there is a lack of verifiable on-chain data to support Ripple's claim of having secured the cooperation of over 300 banks in its 13 years of operation. However, Ripple's CTO, David Schwartz, responded that the company has no issues with transparency, on-chain data, and institutional adoption, and that the main reason for XRP's low transaction volume is that institutions have historically preferred to use digital assets off-chain rather than on-chain.
