Tether releases XAUT audit report: backed by over 7.66 tons of physical reserve gold

According to official news from Odaily Planet Daily, Tether released the latest audit report of its gold tokenized product TetherGold (XAUT) as of June 30, 2025. The current number of XAUT tokens in circulation is 246,524,330. The report states that each XAUT token is backed by 1:1 physical reserve gold, which is safely stored in a dedicated vault in a world-class facility in Switzerland. The XAUT tokens in circulation are backed by more than 7.66 tons of physical gold.
