Odaily Planet Daily News: Eleven industry organizations, including the Fintech Association, the Blockchain Association, and the Crypto Innovation Council, jointly wrote to US President Trump on July 23 , urging him to support the Open Banking framework in the upcoming executive order and oppose the legal action filed by large banks against the policy. The letter emphasized that open banking can promote market competition and innovation through the secure sharing of financial data, and bring more service options to retail investors and small and medium-sized financial institutions. Institutions participating in this call include major crypto wallets and payment service providers, as well as representatives of several Fintech alliances. The lobbying group suggested that the administration should quickly implement open banking through administrative means to prevent large banks from using litigation procedures to delay the implementation of the policy.
