Odaily Planet Daily News: JiHunKim, a former executive of crypto trading platforms Gemini and Kraken, has been officially appointed as CEO of the Crypto Innovation Council (CCI).

Kim previously worked at Gemini for three years and at Kraken for less than a year before serving as CCI’s chief legal and policy officer. Kim has served as the organization’s interim CEO since December 2024.

CCI is one of the main industry advocacy organizations that regularly provides digital asset policy advice to U.S. lawmakers and regulators. Kim said in a statement that this is a critical period for the development of the industry and that a bridge between technology and public policy needs to be built. (Cointelegraph)
