JPMorgan Chase applies for "JPMD" trademark, may launch stablecoin service

Odaily News JPMorgan recently submitted a "JPMD" trademark application to the US Patent and Trademark Office, covering a number of cryptocurrency-related services such as digital asset trading, exchange, transfer, clearing and payment processing. According to a previous report by the Wall Street Journal, JPMorgan Chase may consider launching a stablecoin with financial institutions such as Bank of America and Wells Fargo to accelerate conventional and cross-border payments.
