According to the Echo team, the official account was hacked and briefly controlled by an unknown person yesterday, during which false information and suspicious links unrelated to the project were released, attracting widespread attention from the community. In response, the team immediately activated the emergency response mechanism and began communication and cooperation with X officials, and finally successfully regained control of the account today.
Echo Protocol stated that this incident only affected the social platform account, the protocol itself operated normally, all user funds and data remained safe at all times, and there were no abnormalities in the platform contract, so users are advised to use it with confidence.
