Anthony Pompliano plans to launch Bitcoin investment tool and raise $750 million

Odaily News Cryptocurrency entrepreneur Anthony Pompliano is reportedly planning to launch a new Bitcoin investment vehicle with a goal of raising $750 million. Pompliano is expected to serve as CEO of ProCapBTC, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) that plans to merge with publicly traded Columbus Circle Capital 1.
It is reported that under the leadership of Anthony Pompliano (discussions are still ongoing), ProCapBTC will seek to raise $500 million in equity financing and $250 million in convertible debt through a merger with Columbus Circle Capital 1. Columbus Circle Capital 1 is backed by investment bank Cohen & Company. The ProCapBTC transaction may be announced as early as next week, but the specific terms have not yet been finalized.
