HSBC: Appointed by China Asset Management as the Tokenization Agent for Hong Kong Project Ensemble Pilot Program

Odaily News Zhu Kuang Lee, chief digital, data and innovation officer of HSBC, said that HSBC will focus on three key areas in blockchain applications, namely: digital asset custody, HSBC Orion platform, and tokenization. HSBC's private blockchain HSBC Orion, which is used for bond issuance, has completed the issuance of more than 10 bonds in Hong Kong and other places in the past year and a half, with an issuance scale of more than US$1.5 billion.
In addition, Zhu Kuang Lee also revealed that China Asset Management Co., Ltd. (China AMC) has appointed HSBC as the tokenization agent for the pilot program under Project Ensemble in Hong Kong. (Hong Kong Economic Times)
