SlowMist Cosine: Phishing attacks impersonating Zoom conference software are active against cryptocurrency projects
2025-05-07 07:01

Odaily News According to a post by SlowMist Yuxian, there have been precise phishing attacks targeting important people in the cryptocurrency circle recently. The attackers forged Zoom conference links and combined deepfake technology to create realistic video conference scenes to induce the targets to download malware. Once the target device is successfully controlled, the attackers may steal cryptocurrency assets or related cloud platform permissions. Users are advised to verify whether the conference link comes from the official domain name (zoom.com or zoom.us) to avoid being deceived.
