The U.S. Treasury Department released data on investment funds and foreign investors' purchases of U.S. debt in the past two weeks

Odaily News Data from the U.S. Treasury Department showed that in the most recent two-week reporting period, investment funds bought $26.249 billion of 10-year Treasury bonds maturing on February 15, 2035, compared with $26.954 billion last month; foreign investors bought $7.168 billion of 10-year Treasury bonds maturing on February 15, 2035, compared with $4.636 billion last month. Investment funds bought $39.725 billion of 3-year Treasury bonds maturing on April 15, 2028, compared with $44.782 billion last month; foreign investors bought $4.74 billion of 3-year Treasury bonds maturing on April 15, 2028, compared with $4.912 billion last month. Investment funds purchased $16.2 billion of 30-year Treasury bonds maturing on February 15, 2055, compared with $15.436 billion the previous month, and foreign investors purchased $2.33 billion of 30-year U.S. Treasury bonds maturing on February 15, 2055, compared with $2.14 billion the previous month.
