EigenLayer plans to launch the Slashing mechanism on April 17

Odaily News EigenLayer announced on the X platform that it plans to officially launch the mainnet Slashing mechanism on April 17. Slashing allows AVS to set conditions that operators must comply with. If the operator fails to meet the requirements, AVS can punish it, otherwise it will be rewarded. Slashing will be implemented in stages, and operators and pledgers need to choose whether to accept the Slashing standards.
