WAT protocol is supported by three RWA assets: Hong Kong gold, Dubai real estate and Turkmen natural gas. Traditional giants accelerate on-chain migration
Odaily News The global RWA (real asset tokenization) protocol WAT (WorldAssets Protocol) announced that the gold assets of Hong Kong Meiya Group, Dubai landmark pre-sale project NU STREAM and the natural gas resources of Turkmenistan National Gas Company will be mapped on the chain in the near future and officially connected to the WAT protocol ecosystem. This move will open up the liquidity channel between traditional high-value assets and the crypto market through a technical framework, further promoting the standardization process of the RWA track.
1. Hong Kong gold assets are managed by Meiya Group and Hong Kong Heraeus Gold Melting Factory to establish a gold custody warehouse, relying on the WAT protocol to convert physical gold into ERC721 confirmation NFT and anchor token ATC. Investors can obtain tokens mapped 1:1 with the value of physical gold and stable US dollar returns (annualized 8%-10%) by holding gold asset warrants on the chain, while avoiding the liquidity restrictions and custody risks of traditional gold transactions.
2. NU STREAM, a Dubai pre-sale project, is a high-end real estate development project in Dubai. It cooperates with EMAAR, the Dubai Royal Real Estate Group, to realize the on-chain transaction of pre-sale properties through the dynamic mapping layer of the WAT protocol, enabling users to trade properties through ATC. It also mints the income token INC (Income Token) to inject the investment income of pre-sale properties into the chain.
3. As an important global energy asset, the natural gas mining rights and sales revenue of Kurmenistan's natural gas resources will be privately uploaded to the chain through the compliance pre-processing layer of the WAT protocol (audited by institutions such as JPMorgan Chase) and ZK technology, introducing energy targets with an annualized stable cash flow of more than 10% to the crypto market, while ensuring the compliance of on-chain transactions.
The WAT protocol currently manages over 270 million USD, covering multiple assets such as energy, real estate, and precious metals. This cooperation marks the recognition of the on-chain ecosystem by traditional giants, and is expected to attract more Web2 users and funds.
