ETH spot holdings in CEX dropped to a nine-year low, with only 8.97 million remaining

Odaily News The current number of ETH held by centralized exchanges has dropped to 8.97 million, a nine-year low since November 2015.
CryptoRank pointed out that investors continue to transfer ETH to cold wallets, reducing the circulating supply in the market, which may drive up prices. A similar trend has also appeared in BTC before - in mid-January, after BTC reserves in exchanges fell to a seven-year low, the price rose from about $90,000 to over $109,000.
