Odaily News According to Bitcoin.com, last Sunday, Marla Maples, the second wife of US President Donald Trump, posted on the social media platform X, calling on Trump and his team to drop the lawsuit against early Bitcoin investor Roger Ver. Videos about Roger Ver’s philanthropy were widely circulated online, and the disseminators included Ryan Fournier, co-founder of Students for Trump, and many other liberal advocates.
Last week, a group of international supporters posted a video showing Roger Ver's philanthropy. Trump's ex-wife Marla Maples retweeted Fournier's post to her 61,500 followers on Platform X on Sunday. Maples added: "Sharing more content calling for the case against Roger Ver to be dropped."
Roger Ver, known online as "Bitcoin Jesus," was arrested in Spain in May last year and charged by the United States with mail fraud, tax evasion and filing false tax returns. He is the former CEO of digital wallet developer Bitcoin.com.
