Former Ethereum Foundation engineer: Ethereum and EVM lack a clear vision and need to replace decisive leaders
Odaily News Harikrishnan Mulackal, a former Solidity expert and compiler engineer at the Ethereum Foundation, warned that the current lack of a clear and cohesive development vision for Ethereum and the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) has led to stagnation in technological progress.
Mulackal believes that Ethereum needs more decisive leadership, otherwise it may eventually fall into a state of "ossification - no longer changing". He suggested reducing the focus on research and focusing on product delivery, and proposed that Ethereum should regularly perform hard fork updates to promote technological iteration. In addition, he emphasized that the Ethereum community should seriously reflect on the bottlenecks of development in the past five years and take measures to improve them, otherwise the existing way of operation will continue to bring the same results.
At the same time, the Ethereum Foundation has continued to sell ETH recently, and the price of ETH is relatively weak, which may further affect the development of its ecosystem.
