Odaily News According to on-chain analyst @EmberCN, Chainlink completed its quarterly unlocking 5 hours ago, with a total of 19 million LINK (approximately US$262 million) transferred from two non-circulating supply addresses.
Among them, 14.875 million LINK (about US$205 million) were directly transferred to Binance, and 4.125 million LINK (about US$57.04 million) were transferred to a multi-signature address.
Key Stats:
Chainlink unlocks about 10 to 20 million LINK every three months, most of which flow into Binance, a small portion is transferred to multi-signature addresses, and some of them enter the LINK staking reward contract for issuing staking rewards.
Since 2022, approximately 163.65 million LINK (approximately US$1.81 billion) have been unlocked and flowed into Binance in this way, with an average transfer price of US$11.06.
Past data shows that despite the huge scale of LINK’s quarterly unlocking, its transfer to Binance did not have a significant impact on the short-term price trend of LINK.
