Odaily News Mark Uyeda, acting chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), said he had instructed staff to consider abandoning a plan that would expand the definition of alternative trading systems to include some cryptocurrency companies, although the definition has not yet been finalized and would no longer require crypto companies to register as trading systems.
