Odaily News Paraguay's Secretariat for the Prevention of Money Laundering (SEPRELAD) and El Salvador's National Digital Asset Commission (CNAD) signed a memorandum of understanding last Friday. This is the second such agreement signed in nearly three months, following a similar regulatory cooperation between El Salvador and Argentina's National Securities Commission (CNV) in December last year. According to a statement from SEPRELAD, the two sides will jointly combat unlicensed cryptocurrency operations and strengthen anti-money laundering measures.
