Odaily News This morning, President Trump signed an executive order to establish a strategic Bitcoin reserve and promised not to sell the Bitcoin in the reserve. According to Lookonchain data, the US government public wallet currently holds 198,109 BTC, worth approximately $16.92 billion.
Previously, the US government had transferred about 222,000 bitcoins (worth $3.28 billion at the time, and now worth about $19.42 billion) to platforms such as Coinbase and Coinbase Prime, with an average selling price of $14,736. Based on current prices, the US government has lost about $16.14 billion due to premature sales of bitcoins.
