Celo: Mainnet upgraded to Ethereum L2 on March 26

Odaily News Celo officially announced that it will officially activate the Ethereum L2 mainnet at 11:00 (Beijing time) on March 26, 2025, with a hard fork block height of 31057000. After the upgrade, the block time will be shortened from 5 seconds to 1 second, while retaining the complete on-chain history to ensure network transparency. In addition, this upgrade reduces 365,000 lines of code, reduces the technical burden, and supports trustless upgrades, making node operations more efficient.
