Trump's speech on Friday may increase market volatility, and investors' shift to low-volatility assets may cause cryptocurrencies to fall
2025-02-28 12:19

Odaily News U.S. President Donald Trump is set to speak later on Friday, and market volatility looks set to continue to rise. Griffin Ardern, head of options trading and research at crypto financial platform BloFin, said: "Domestic policies in the United States have become unstable, and the White House seems happy to take advantage of this instability. Given the challenges investors face in getting accurate forward guidance, many prefer to hold low-volatility assets... Traders need to liquidate positions to reduce exposure to specific assets before turning to other markets, which explains the decline in almost all asset classes, including cryptocurrencies."
