Serenity added that these associated accounts could eventually accumulate tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of followers, and further leverage their influence to boost the visibility of other associated accounts. If this model continues to develop, X could ultimately be dominated by "engagement networks" marketing around company products, while independent, authentic voices on the platform would be squeezed out.
