Trump: We want to be at the forefront of everything, cryptocurrency is one of them

Odaily News “Bitcoin is hitting multiple all-time highs because everybody knows I’m committed to making the United States the cryptocurrency capital,” Trump said Wednesday at the Institute for Future Investment Initiative conference in Miami.
He added: “We want to be at the forefront of everything, one of which is cryptocurrency, and Miami seems to be the epicenter of the action. Come to think of it, maybe it’s here to stay.”
Washington is expected to have the most crypto-friendly Congress to date, with pro-cryptocurrency lawmakers such as Senate Banking Committee Chairman Tim Scott and House Financial Services Committee Chairman French Hill heading key committees to spearhead crypto regulation. (The Block)
