Alongside team receives $9 million in strategic financing, led by a16z

Odaily News The Universal project and Alongside platform development team have completed a $9 million strategic financing led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and participated by Coinbase and others. It is reported that the funds will be used to support its uAsset cross-chain liquidity solution. uAssets uses a "burn-cast" mechanism and Coinbase custody to transfer assets between different blockchains (such as SUI, Ripple, and Dogecoin). It has been launched on Polygon, Arbitrum, and Base, and plans to expand to all EVM chains and more ecosystems.
