Bank of America survey: If PCE exceeds 3%, it may trigger the Fed to raise interest rates

Odaily News In the Bank of America's February foreign exchange and interest rate sentiment survey, most respondents (58%) believed that if the annual rate of US PCE inflation exceeds 3%, it may prompt the Fed to raise interest rates. The PCE indicator is the Fed's preferred inflation indicator. The survey also showed that 12% of respondents believed that if the 5-year/5-year inflation breakeven (based on market inflation expectations) is above 3%, it may become a trigger for a rate hike.
