Sora Ventures takes over board control of HK Asia Holdings, a Hong Kong-listed company
Odaily News Sora Ventures and its affiliates have taken over control of the board of directors of HK Asia Holdings, a Hong Kong-listed bitcoin-focused company, after filing director appointment documents. The filing, which takes effect on February 12, 2025, marks the company’s transition from holding shares to assuming management responsibilities at the company.
The new board consists of 12 directors, with positions covering executive, non-executive and independent non-executive positions. The document lists David Bailey and John Riggins of Bitcoin Magazine owner BTC Inc., Jason Fang of Sora Ventures, Siu Muk Lung (chairman), Chung Chi Fai and Mary Wong as executive directors.
The board structure includes four committees, Audit, Remuneration, Nominating, and Environment, Social and Governance, with designated roles including committee chairs and members.
