Hester Pierce: Memecoins may not fall under the jurisdiction of the SEC, but may be handled by the CFTC

Odaily News Hester Pierce, head of the U.S. SEC's cryptocurrency task force, said, "Under our current regulatory requirements, many existing meme coins may not find a foothold at the SEC." Peirce mentioned that the U.S. CFTC may solve this problem.
