Odaily News Jupiter co-founder meow released the official verification progress of CAR on X: “We have contacted the team that deployed the token, and we can verify it by executing some on-chain transactions in real time.
This includes:
- Ask them to redo the original cancelable contract;
- Track key deployer transactions from minting to locking;
- Have them destroy 0.06924 SOL as proof of ownership of the deployer's address.
We were able to verify the on-chain portion, but were unable to obtain any additional information, such as whether this was official news from the CAR office, or the accuracy of the token economics, or why namecheap suspended it, or the remaining circulating token ownership information disclosed by @YokaiCapital.
These key details must be worked out in the next few days.
I can’t stress enough: we can’t get any off-chain confirmations, this is purely to verify ownership of the deployer address and to fix cancelable contracts. Off-chain proofs will have to come at some point later, but this is what I can do for now.”
