The SEC is downsizing its cryptocurrency enforcement division

Odaily News Eric Balchunas, ETF analyst at Bloomberg, said in a post on X: "The U.S. SEC is reducing the size of its cryptocurrency enforcement department. According to an article published in the New York Times, some personnel originally dedicated to taking enforcement actions in a special department consisting of 50 lawyers and staff are being reassigned."
