Vanguard to pay $106 million to settle SEC charges

Odaily News The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said in a press release that The Vanguard Group, Inc. will pay $106.41 million to settle charges that it made misleading statements about capital gains distributions and the tax implications that affected retail investors who held Vanguard Investor TRFs in taxable accounts. The settlement amount will be distributed to affected investors.
