Odaily News Tether, the world’s largest stablecoin issuer, is considering expanding in the United States following the election of pro-cryptocurrency Donald Trump as U.S. president and the company’s strong profits in 2024.
“I don’t rule out Tether moving further into the U.S. market, but we are also cautious… At this point, we need regulatory clarity and guidance. We need to see what the U.S. law looks like before we make a decision,” Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said in an interview on Thursday.
