Survey: 12% of UK adults own cryptocurrency

Odaily News The latest research released by the UK regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), shows that 12% of UK adults currently hold cryptocurrencies, up from 10% previously. Based on a nationally representative study of 2,199 UK adults, this figure infers that the number of cryptocurrency holders in the UK will increase from 5 million to 7 million in 2022. During the same period, the average value of cryptocurrencies held by people increased from £1,595 to £1,842. (decrypt)
